pure.box 2 <> S7

Enhancing a Siemens SIMATIC S7 environment with a pure.box 2 can mean surprising advantages in many applications. For example you can quickly and cost-effectively...

... implement a data logger which stores S7 measurement values.

... convert a Web gateway which visualizes values from an automation device.

Our own Marc Lippels has worked intensively with connecting the pure.box 2 USB to a Siemens SIMATIC S7 over Ethernat including simple data exchange using AS_SEND and AG_RECV. His results are documented in a highly informative tutorial. The procedure described here for the pure.box 2 can of course be applied to any model in the pure.box 2 series.
