USB up to 70°C

New W&T USB-Hub Industry

USB is becoming increasingly popular in industrial settings as a standardized data interface for short distances. The new 4-port USB-Hub from Wiesemann & Theis helps to network USB devices in the control cabinet. The Hub features an expanded operating temperature range of 0°C - 70°C and can be operated at industry-standard voltages of 24...48V DC using the built-in wide-range input.

The four available USB 2.0 ports are, thanks to the integrated DIN rail mount, easily accessible in the control cabinet and the front panel is configured so that even larger USB plugs can be connected without difficulty. Two LEDs per port indicate the communication speed of the terminal device. Connected USB devices are powered as usual with up to 500mA.

The Hub guarantees full transmission speed on all downstream ports, even if terminal devices having different USB standards (1.0 / 1.1 / 2.0) are connected.

The USB-Hub Industry is plug&play compatible, so that no additional driver installation is needed for startup. Among the advantages of this is that even embedded devices can be equipped with additional USB ports.

The DIN rail mount housing, noise immunity per EN 61000-6-2, the extended temperature range and the wide-range input are features that make this USB-Hub (198€ plus VAT where applicable) ideal for industrial use.
