These industrial grade firewall routers can be DIN rail installed and located in the network architecture directly before the network device to be protected. The result is a secure network island. This type of network segmentation is accomplished according to individually configurable communication rules: communication with selected network devices, users or services can be allowed, while all other undesired communication attempts will be thwarted.
