Web-IO 4.0 Digital

IP relay for DIN rail mount from 24 to 230 V

web-io 24V, web-io 230v

Stand-alone and via integration into IoT, SCADA-, MES and NMS systems

With its broad range of supported protocols and access methods the Web-IO 4.0 Digital can be integrated into many existing systems with very little effort. And even stand-alone, released from the automation jungle, the Web-IO can take on a wide variety of detection and monitoring tasks.

Features

  • Finger moves slider

    Switching

Your smartphone can become just as much a switching center as your PC browser. Depending on the model the Web-IO switches with traditional 24V automation technology, with potential-free contacts, or 230V direct.

  • MQTT logo

    MQTT and REST

Because it supports MQTT and REST the Web-IO 4.0 is ideal for IoT solutions and Industry 4.0.

  • Letter

    Sending alarms

A potential-free contact or limit value switch is sufficient for the Web-IO to inform the responsible persons in serious situations. Other alarm sending possibilties include SNMP trap, TCP messaging, MQTT Publish and more.

  • Modbus logo

    Modbus and OPC

As a TCP Modbus slave the Web-IO can be incorporated into traditional automation systems. Using the right configuration you can even bridge between Modbus TCP and IoT. In spring 2021 the Web-IO 4.0 with OPC UA will also fit into the very latest systems.

  • Gear

    Industry ready

With DIN rail mount, 24V power and all the required approvals, the Web-IO 4.0 is ideally suited for industrial 24/7 application. This applies of course to the 230V models as well.

  • Document

    Additional protocols

Also possible is individual access via HTTP and HTTPS, TCP and UDP using simple API interfaces. In box-to-box mode switching signals can even be passed along without the use of any external systems.

Application examples

Here is just a small selection of possible applications using the Web-IO 4.0 Digital.
Additional Application examples find here.

  • Tunnel switching signals in the network

    Diagram: Web-IO 4.0 Box-to-Box
Switching signals from one location to another without having to route new cable. Simply use your existing network as the transmission path.
  • Monitor and control in your browser

Benefit from the use of new web technologies: Use HTTP requests and AJAX to program your own dashboard.
  • The Web-IO as FTP data logger

Diagram: Web-IO as FTP data logger
What was switched and when? Retain switching signals over time in a file. A potential-free contact is all you need to write a log file with time stamps via FTP.
  • Limit value switch sends email

    Limit value switch sends email
Many devices have switching outputs for example to switch on a warning light when a fault occurs. Use these contacts to let the responsible person know immediately via email.
