Automation World is an international exhibition that has taken place in Korea annually since 1990. Since 2015 the exhibition has featured a dedicated Smart Factory topic.

The future of the production industry
The WiTree company offers programming services and component integration in South Korea.
In accordance with the exhibition slogan "Meet the Future of Manufacturing Industry" the public takes in demos of WiTree solutions in an open booth.
When it comes to industrial communication control, WiTree prefers the MQTT protocol along with the graphical development tool NodeRED.
Web-IOs and sensors acquire measurement data over the network and issue alarms for specific events such as the exceeding of individually specified limit values.
Edge devices like the rule.box monitor the sensor data from the Web-IOs and control their outputs. In more complex automation applications the rule.box can also communicate with hard- and software components from other manufacturers as well as with cloud services.
