Background information:
Whether you wish to send a fax, surf the Internet or use other online services: the modem is always available for outgoing connections. Simply establish a connection from your PC by dial-up. The device automatically switches to serve your PC. Only under certain circumstances is it useful to answer incoming calls:
1. Mailbox on your PC. 2. Fax reception through the PC; this however means that you must leave your computer on 24 hours a day. 3. Data reception arranged with sender. Such incoming data is received by one PC only, as defined in the configuration.
