New WLAN Thermometer for IoT

Wuppertal specialist in Web Thermometers Wiesemann & Theis is now offering a WLAN Thermometer for measuring and reporting temperature data via WLAN, sending MQTT messages, push notifications to smartphones and data as needed to the W&T cloud.

The established Web Thermometer range from Wiesemann & Theis now features the first WLAN component: The WLAN Thermometer 1x Pt100 works as reliably as the other models but is also wireless. The included Pt100 Class A cable sensor has a measuring range of -50°C to 180°C. With appropriate Pt100 sensors, temperatures from -200°C to 650°C can also be recorded.

It can send MQTT messages for individually configurable events such as temperature overshoot or undershoot and can also send push messages to smartphones via ntfy.sh. Thanks to its high immunity to interference, DIN rail mounting and 24V supply, it is ideally suited for temperature monitoring in industrial environments. Temperature data can be monitored in a browser from anywhere and transferred to the W&T Cloud for secure storage.

Model no. 97701 is now available to commercial customers for a net price of EUR 178.00 and can be tested free of charge for 30 days. More information at wut.de/97701 or +49 202-26 80 110.

Wiesemann & Theis was founded in 1979 by Reinhard Wiesemann and Rüdiger Theis. 50 employees produce microcomputer and network technology at the headquarters in Wuppertal. With their Web-IO 4.0 product range, W&T have long bridged the gap between traditional automation technology and Industry 4.0 and the IoT.
