Press release January 2026
The new W&T WLAN-IO Digital 4x In/Out is here
Industrial-grade Wi-Fi I/O module
for IoT applications
Wiesemann & Theis is expanding its portfolio of decentralized network I/Os with the WLAN-IO Digital 4x In/Out, a compact, Wi-Fi-connected IoT device for wireless switching and monitoring of digital signals. The device has four channels, each of which can be configured as a digital input or output, making it highly adaptable to a wide range of applications.>
The Wi-Fi interface allows digital signals to be monitored and controlled even in locations where no wired network is available. The WLAN-IO Digital 4x In/Out functions like a network switch: devices such as lights, door contacts, and other actuators can be turned on and off, while the states of pushbuttons or digital sensors are reliably detected.
The WLAN-IO (Art. No. 97733) is easy to configure and stands out for its IoT-oriented protocol support (such as MQTT and HTTPS) as well as its robust hardware, designed for 24/7 industrial operation.
